Functions of Gansu Provincial Investment and Trade Promotion Bureau |
Approved by Gansu Provincial Committee of the CPC and Gansu Provincial People¡¯s Government,Gansu Provincial Investment and Trade Promotion Bureau has been set up in Nov.2005. It is a Bureau-leavel public service unit responsible for the professional service of investment and trade promotion, conference and exhibition economy improvement of the whole province,undertaking the work of absorbing domestic and foreign investment and providing professional services for the investors.
Working Responsibilities:
1.Carrying out and propagating the relevant developing strategic principles and policies of the nation and Gansu province concerning investment promotion and economic and technical cooperation,making out and implementing the developing plan of investment and trade promotion as well as the conference and exhibition economy of Gansu province.
2.Responsible for guiding and coordinating the work of all municipals and autonomous prefectures concerning economic and technical cooperation and investment promotion,improving the interprovincial economic cooperation and exchange,providing multi-form service work of lateral economic and technical cooperation for the enterprises of all municipals and autonomour prefectures in Gansu.
3.Responsible for the work of managing and undertaking trade fairs, investment fairs, seminars, exhibitions and expos, organizing and carrying out with the relevant departments the momentous activities of investment and trade promotion,conducting and coordinating the investment promotion work,exhibitions and expos from other provinces held in Gansu.
4.Responsible for the lateral coordination of regional economy with other provinces,establishing close tie with the relevant internal organizations of regional cooperation.
5.Participating in the joint conference and conference and exhibition on nationwide investment promotion,developing and promoting cooperation and exchange activities with the institutions of investment and trade promotion,institutions of conference and exhibition and other economic organizations both in and out of the country,organizing and carrying out the bilateral activities of investment and trade promotion and exhibition work.
6.Responsible for the coordination and contact with the representative offices of other provinces set up in Gansu, strengthening liaison work concerning the investment and economic cooperation with the representative offices set up in other provinces by Gansu Provincial Government.
7.Responsible for the work of economic and technical coordination with related provinces and municipals assisting to Gansu province,working out ,organizing and executing the plans of relevant training course and talent exchange.
8.Gathering and sorting out the general information on economic and technological coordination, investment, investment and trade promotion as well as conference and exhibition,responsible for the construction ,operation and maintenance work of Invest in Gansu website and setting up the databases of investment projects and the major investors list in Gansu,providing public information for the society on cooperation and exchange with other provinces and countries.
9.Responsible for the coordination of professional service and complaints for enterprises and investors with domestic and foreign investment,guiding associations¡¯ work of domestically-associated enterprises and conference and exhibition industry and so on.
10.Laying scheme of China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Promotion Fair and organizing and implement the task of the Fair,responsible for the managerial and administrative work of exhibition hall.
11.Undertake other work concerning domestic and foreign investment entrusted by Gansu Provincial Committee of CPC and Gansu Provincial Government. |
